Garden in the sunshine
A promise of a warm day today, and so it was! Spent some time this morning cutting some timber to fix a planter to the fence - I planted three of my Aeschynanthus buxifolius in it - my extra today.
This afternoon we had a u3a Gardens Group visit to the Walled Garden at Dunollie. Apart from a small fenced piece, the garden has been abandoned for many years until Hope Kitchen's 'Green Shoots', who used to grow vegetables at Glencruitten, took it over. It's now a burgeoning vegetable garden and today's Blip. Was it hot though - a gentle wind would have been good!
A cuppa in the cafe, a quick look around the Dunollie garden, then home - a good afternoon out for 19 of us.
