3916. Molly

This is Molly who came with her owner to my craft class today.  She’s adorable and such a friendly wee thing.  I met my youngest for a quick coffee before my class to wish him happy birthday.  He’s had his present but I’ve got him a wee extra present, which arrived in the post this morning, I’ll give it to him tomorrow along with a gift from his elder sibling, which also arrived today.  I’ve finished off the other crochet bag I was making, just the hardware to add and it’s done.  Very hot here today, currently measuring 31 degrees on our balcony and 28 degrees inside the lounge!  I have my little rechargeable electric fan going with it plugged into the USB port and it is helping!  I’ve cancelled the wheelchair I booked for our trip to Aberdeen and I’m following the advice the Cardiac Nurse gave me.  She said whilst the wheelchair might help, it might also make me feel I can do more when I should be trying to do less, and she’s right.  I got my MRI results from the Royal Brompton Hospital yesterday via an app I downloaded when I was there in July.  The results are promising but it’s also made me realise that my recovery could take over 6 months.  I can’t do anything more until after my Cardiac Rehab appointment in September, so I’m going to do just that!
