Hydrangea

The hydrangeas are beginning to lose their summer colour and are taking on the tints of autumn. I have tried to keep them watered but they are beginning to look a bit tired.
We have felt a bit tired today. It is very hot, more than twenty degrees, but there is heavy cloud cover. It feels as though it will rain, but it isn’t forecast . Meanwhile we sit about, not achieving very much. I shall have to get the hose out later, thankfully we don’t have a hosepipe ban.
