Candles and Caves

Sam's birthday today - so got up early and went to the beach, and then to the spectacular Nerja caves - a series of caves, only discovered in 1959 by five young lads - though lived in from around 25,000 to 3,000 years ago. The most incredible "speleothems", including a massive column, over 30m high and over 50m round the base, which is in the Guiness Book, as the largest column in a cave.

Back at the ranch, a meal and a cake with pink (only ones we could find) candles - which D decided to help him blow out.

And now I can't wait to get into bed...
