Edinburgh Festival

A train trip to Edinburgh to soak up the festival atmosphere.  Beautiful journey up the east coast to get there.  Lots of Oasis fans on the train as they were playing at Murrayfield that evening.

More or less as soon as we arrived we saw the fire man up above.  We had a nice lunch in a pub and then headed for the Royal Mile where a lot of the activity takes place.  We were not disappointed as there was lots going on - the weird and the wonderful.  

It was very hot there yesterday and it was very crowded but there was a great atmosphere.  We had a much needed sit down and a cuppa in a cafe and then headed for Princes Street Gardens to sit and people watch.

Another lovely journey home along the coast.  We were both very tired last night so it was on a early night for us.  Such a good day.
