St Andrew Square

Having just missed a tram, this view appeared while waiting.  

Was at the Scottish Enterprise offices in Haymarket for most of the day. In a brief break at lunchtime  we watched the start of the fan crowd moving towards Murrayfield. Mid afternoon the pavements and tram stops on Princes Street were full to overflowing with people going to the last Oasis show; trams were running back to back in the town, with less service beyond St Andrew Square. 

Quick stroll around the town in the early evening; there was a light NE breeze in places to relieve the 24C heat. Whisky and cheese with visiting neighbours later on. A day when I talked much more than usual.
