The code in the title should give you a hint what it is you are looking at ....
Our dishwasher stopped working about a week ago, with usually the error code E24. We knew the E15, water in the bottom part where it shouldn't be.
The E24 meant a problem with the drain pump.
Well, we finally got a new pump (we assumed the other one had suffered from the dreck in the drain hose). Installed it. Cleaned the drain hose. Pumping the first drips went slowly, yet fine (see my entry), but then the new pump ceased too. Now with an E25, still an error with the pump function.
Our next attempt will be to clean the heat exchanger. That means we will have to disassemble it. Of course, after 14 years some things like the cover cap vent slot are fastened really tight. So we have now ordered the key tool to help with that. Will come tomorrow.
The heat exchanger costs over 100€, so we hope to be successful (with vinegar or chlorine) ....
