RH & DR
Continuing the theme of railway stations and trains from yesterday, we got to the Kent coast early afternoon and decided to go and see the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway. This is the little (1/4 scale) steam engine arriving at the station. We spent a very nice hour looking at the different engines coming and going, before checking in to our hotel near the Channel Tunnel. After that, we drove down into Folkestone for a walk around and ended up enjoying a drink at a beachside café (in extras). There was a very nice holiday vibe about the place, which is appropriate for us. Early start in the morning. We've heard from our housesitters that Ivy enjoyed her walk and was doing OK without us - probably better than we are without her!
