Striding Edge...nearly....

To be honest I wanted to go climb Helvellyn on one of the hottest days of the year so far as much as a <insert thing you don't want to do>....

But

I wanted to repay M's recent kindness and do him the favour he's asked for for a while even more. So off we set. 
Sadly M can't really function first thing, so it was a late start, full heat of the day, lots of water carried for both of us and of course Missy. M's had lots of health issues but is turning a corner, has lost an amazing 45lbs so far, it was impressive to see him dig deep.

We got as high as we needed, just past the hole in the wall.... And my most adventurous drone flying yet. Not perfect, and I've now watched more videos, increased my height limit, but the image in extras was taken from 100m above the ground and 1.2km away from us. I getting excited about the potential and looking forward to my course next month.

Main blip taken on the drive in at Ullwater. People double parked everywhere in the main bays but a little local knowledge found an empty spot.
