143 Skirsa Street

Today  we went Lambhill Stables and had lunch there. It is besid the Forth and Clyde canal. I lived in Cadder a big housing estate near the canal. We went for a walk along beside  the canal the turned up a pathetic which took us right to the hose at 143 Skirsa Street. We took some photos of it when a man came out the house next door . I told him I used to live here. We chatted and dicivered that he was brought up two doors along. It was a big family having 10 children and he was number six. He asked my name and said he remembered my father as he had a motor bike with a side car. It was strange to see all the changes with old houses knocked down and new ones  built. There was a row of shops built where my father had his plot. I had many stories to tell Rhona. A super day out .
