William and King Richard III

Following on from Rocket Round Leicester in 2021, Leicester's hospice, LOROS, is again sponsoring a similar trail titled Stomp Around Leicester. Forty elephants painted by local artists dot Leicester. This one painted in the colours of Richard III, stands outside the cathedral.

George and Kat with William and Edward met us in Highcross from where we turned up the High Street, having first detoured around the Clock Tower where a Van Gogh inspired elephant stood called Sunflower.

Ultimately we saw only four big elephants. Len and I are feeling our age not being able to walk very far especially in the heat. It was the first day of the fourth heatwave of the year.
