Flower Crab Spider

This I believe is a female flower crab spider, though she appears to have accidentally mislaid some of her legs.  She's sitting on a field scabious bloom and I found her on the Butterfly Reserve early this afternoon.  I would have tagged the shot for TinyTuesday, but with the best will in the world I can't pretend she's a 'manmade mystery object' ;))

Whilst I was up on the Reserve I got a call from St Thomas'.  It appears that instead of having to wait until at least the end of October for my rescheduled eye op they will do it for me on Friday morning - provided I can get to the hospital by 8am.  Is that good news?  Let's hope so.
