Cracking up...

...in the heat. 

It is 31C in the sunny room today, too warm for much other than sitting in the garden keeping cool. The fan is going in the summer house.

Today I have a new book. I include the cover in extra, for anyone interested in non-fiction and contemporary political analysis. It's by the Egyptian-Canadian novelist and journalist, Omar El Akkad and published earlier this year. I think the title is a clever summary of the book itself.
"One day, when it's safe, when there's no personal downside to calling a thing what it is, when it's too late to hold anyone accountable, everyone will always have been against this."
