Forever Everton

You'd have thought I'd have learnt by now to not get so bothered by football. But I haven't so subsequently am in a bad mood tonight after a woeful display by Everton. I remain highly unconvinced by Martinez and think it's going to be a long, tough season. Hopefully I'll be able to look back this in May and laugh not cry!

The best bit of the match was some old fella in his 80s who's supported Everton since he was a kid coming onto the pitch before kick off. Despite being quite frail and walking with a stick he made it to the centre circle where he milked the massive applause before taking a scarf from his pocket and kissing it. The place went mental. It's moments like that that make me care. The passion and belief and feeling part of something.
