Trains, beaches and crazy villages

We headed to Borth-y-Gest this morning and walked into Porthmadog for lunch, pausing to admire this little steam train and oggle at the full size 
Snowdon steam train that went by as we were walking to our cafe. Lunch was in the quirky Big Rock Cafe which served great food and drink with lovely service. This set us up nicely for a walk back and a continuation on the other side of Borth-y-Gest to almost overlook Black Rock Sands. 


We decided it was time to head for and make the most of our second and final stopover...
