Snake Gully
We have been out re acquainting ourselves with Bowral. This ‘Snake Gully’ is at the entrance to the Mittagong RSL. It doesn’t seem to deter visitors and I don’t know why the notice is so crooked, unless a passing snake leant on it. Anyway, no sensible snake would be out and about in our winter temperatures, would it?
Footnote: According to Dr Google, generally snakes don't hibernate in Australia though they do brumate (a sort of milder form of hibernation during which they may move around). So best to take notice of the sign, they may be about!
