Every Little Step

Not Happy.

I dropped Molly off at the groomers at 10.50, a bit early as her appointment was for 11.

They only had two dogs being groomed on the tables, and nobody else bringing in anymore dogs.  Although others must've been dropped off after I left.

So, I thought she wouldn't be long, rather than go home I went round the local shopping centre.

I should have gone home, because I wasn't really interested in any of the shops.

But after a while I thought there was no point in going home as she couldn't be much longer.

I drove to an old cemetery and wandered around there for a little while but it kep raining so I had to keep going back to the car.

The groomers still hadn't messaged me about Molly, but I decided to go and sit outside the shop and wait.

By 2pm other people started to arrive to pick up their dogs, so I went in and asked if she was ready.

A woman, I presumed the owner, who I'd never seen before said they were two staff down so were behind and Molly was nowhere near ready.

I went back to the car, and I could see through the window that Molly was then put on a table to be clipped.

She eventually came out at 2.30pm.

I wasn't very happy about it, as why on earth they hadn't told me that in the first place, I could've taken her later or even made another appointment.

I've never had any trouble with this place before so I hope it's just a one off.

Poor Molly was exhausted and couldn't get in the car quick enough.

She slept for the rest of the day.
