Beautiful day for a ride

Despite missing a very early start on our ride through being distracted by coffee and conversation, we headed out for a bike ride round Tring and Wendover. We had brunch in the lovely cafe in the woods, and I managed to fall off in interesting and unusual ways.

We stopped at the top of the descent down into Tring to take some pictures, it really is a lovely view. I went for a straightforward burst of colour, while N (also known as Mr Jazz in blipland) was more arty..

In the evening we went to the Rex for the first time. For those who are not in the know, the Rex is a cinema as cinemas should be. The interior is 20s style, it has an alcohol licence and you can drink during the film or have food served to you in your seat. The atmosphere is totally different to your usual multiplex, and it really is a fantastic experience. They also play a more varied selection of films, although Transformers 2 was not something I'd have expected them to show!
