Couldn't Wait...

We'd originally arranged to pick up Arlo from the kennels in Peebles from 4pm but I decided just to go and get him before 10am and take him a walk. He was just as excited to see me after one night as he was after our 4 week holiday! After getting a bacon roll I headed for our usual walk along the Tweed where there are lots of little river beaches to play. We normally cross the river at the old railway viaduct, but I decided to explore further. There are some longer walks that we may try next time but we crossed further along and found a big forest with loads of paths that I'm sure we'll return to. We were almost 2 hours so I picked up some lunch from Coltman's to take home for Mrs C. On return and after lunch I snoozed for about an hour with Arlo by my side, no doubt he has some sleep to catch up on too!
