Hot August Afternoon, Ashdown Forest

Wisps of cloud above one of the Scots Pines close to the 'Garden of Eden' on Ashdown Forest at 14:58 this afternoon. When I got back to the car, the temperature was showing as 28 degrees, though it felt a lot warmer than this out on the open parts of the Forest (though it felt much cooler in the shade of the trees, and there was even a gentle breeze blowing).
