Open Studio

August is a busy month in our household for birthdays, and it’s becoming harder and harder to come up with new ideas for cards for the various family members and friends. Today I’ve spent most of the day in the craft room, struggling to produce designs that look completely different from those I’ve made in previous years.

However, I’m really enjoying having The Traveller’s girlfriend T living with us, because she too loves crafts. For the first time ever I have a creative soulmate in the house, and it’s a great feeling. Today she spent some time making and decorating little clay pots and trays to give as gifts, and was amazed that I could provide her with a mini rolling pin, little toy biscuit cutters, acrylic paints and Mod Podge!
