Last Monday

Up early and my last week in work. It is going to be a hard week.

First up though was an eye appointment. I should hear in 6-8 weeks.

Back to a couple of meetings and then I headed to Cardiff. I've bought a little gift for my young padawan and tried to sort out a laptop and phone, without much success.

Spoke to my friend on the drive in, she was quite excited about my future.

Bought a baguette from my favourite sandwich shop in Cardiff Arcades and decided to eat it in Bute Park, a lovely setting.

Whilst having my lunch I had to join a call, one of the most awkward calls I've attended in a long time. I will need to follow this up tomorrow to find out what was wrong.

Got back for a lazy afternoon and a catch up with my young padawan. Plenty of laughs as always.

Today I am thankful for:

1. Lunch in Bute Park with a delicious baguette
2. A good catch up with my young padawan
3. A god catch up with a friend
