Hard Labour

We've been away for three weeks and returned to find that there was funeral Mass in a few days' time at our little church; and the place had not been cleaned recently.

Since a really dedicated couple moved away, there have been no volunteers  to get the cleaning done, so Mrs B volunteered the two of us this morning.

I took my favourite vacuum cleaner; I don't agree with Mr Dyson's politics or business decisions, but this little machine, bought used from a charity shop for £60 about 6 years ago, really does the work.  It's better than the Henry in the church . . .

But now I have an incipient blister on my vacuuming thumb :-)
