MonoMonday: Chaos
I don't think many of you thought my blip of a desk last week qualified as orderly, even though it was obviously professionally arranged by an interior designer.
As promised, today it's my desk as an example of chaos. Although to be honest I don't think it's as bad as usual.
Thanks for hosting Jen, especially while on holiday.
The day threatened to be a bit chaotic but actually turned out quite well.
We had an interesting morning at the local courthouse. A friend had an interest in a case but didn't want to attend so we went to report on how it turned out. In the end it lasted about 3 mins and was adjourned till a later date. However we hung around for another hour just observing.
The only other time I've been in a courtroom (lucky I guess) was as a tourist at the Old Bailey in 1976. So I found it all quite interesting, even if most of the cases were traffic offences.
Next we had a visit to the solicitor. He is very old school and you could barely see him over the pile of files on his desk. That was real (organized) chaos, but it seemed inappropriate to blip it.
After a couple more things to attend to in Katoomba we went down the valley. My sister, MsPeahen, gave me her electric food dehydrator several years ago but sadly our fingers are insufficiently green to do it justice so, with her approval, I've handed it on to our neighbour, Sophia, who is delighted to have it.
