Bend, Oregon

Back blip...still catching up from being away.

After class yesterday we drove to Bend, Oregon. We had tickets to see Susan Tedeschi of the Tedeschi Trucks Band perform at the Hayden Homes Ampitheater in Bend. We stayed at a hotel that was literally a five minute walk from the venue. Absolutely fabulous concert! After Tedeschi Trucks finished their gig, we left before the next band played. We went for a walk on the Deschutes River, which runs through the city. The sunset was one of the best I've seen in a long, long time. I didn't fiddle with the colors in this blip at all. The river was full of kayakers and boaters, all listening to the concert for free :-)  We headed back to the hotel and hung out at the firepit to stay warm while we listened to the following act: Whisky Myers. We'd bought our tickets to see Susan, so were perfectly happy sipping wine around the fire and listening...it really was so close by!
