Mr B digs in

Predictably, after yesterday's shot, today is the stuffed courgette shot. (Tomorrow you can look forward to the heady excitement of ratatouille.)

A sorting out day. Mr B tackled some kitchen reorganisation and I (with almost back to normal shoulder function) tackled the heavy boxes in the library. Later we headed off to find something to deal with a tricky hornet problem (TallGirl seems to have a nest of them in her chimney - last night we shoved a load of plastic up there to keep them in place, but today it was time for chemical solutions.) After being reminded by our neighbour that the supermarket had a special on school equipment, TallGirl and I dashed back up there to load up on exercise books, pens and a new school bag for her. The school recommends a wheely school bag and, having felt the weight of about a third of the stuff we have to buy for her, I agree...
