Belated happy Gotcha day. 
It was Buddy's 8th gotcha day a few weeks back. I was organised and had bought him his favorite stud muffin cake. Unfortunately we had to whisk it away from right under his nose as when we opened the box it was completely mouldy :0(
I managed to pick a non mouldy one up today! 

He's been to NVEC today for show jumping. Eva walked the course and got on and warmed up. I suggested she walk the course again as we had loads of time but she said she knew where she was going. She didn't and went wrong twice then had a pole down too. It was such a shame as he was jumping lovely for her. 

I was a bit cross with her as I had rushed about loads this morning and basically done everything to get him ready as well as feeding the others while she just swanned about not doing very much. So I decided to stay and chat to a friend and leave her to untack. She didn't tie him up and for some reason decided to undo his girth. He started spinning round and I watched in what seemed like slow motion my saddle falling off his back onto the stoney car park. Oh my goodness I was so cross!! There is now a big ding on the back of my beautiful saddle:0(   After a proper telling off and a few tears and then big hugs to make up it was time to get ready for the next class. She remembered the course this time and Buddy jumped really well for her and they came third. So the day was saved. 

Had a lovely meal with A, K and J. It's gone very warm so we sat outside for a bit. M off to Canada very early in the morning so early nights needed.
