En vacances

Phew! another hot one. At some point this afternoon, it was 43.9ºC on my patio thermometer - and tonight, at 22.30 as I write this, it is still 34ºC. A day at home, mostly indoors basking in blasting A/C, interspersed with brief pool times. Rufus was by 20.30ish making it clear that he was super bored, so we went for a walk along the sea front and of course he made a beeline for Pasa.  So I sat and had a beer while he worked the crowd. The sea front was very crowded tonight - several large groups of Turkish holiday makers. Back home at 22.00 by which time I really needed to jump in the pool again. So I did. 

In other news, an alert message came to my phone at 19.53 of a 5.7 earthquake - but I didn't notice anything. I hope everyone in Turkey is safe.
