The Start ...

... of a Bacon Sandwich.
During Mrs MD's recovery I have complete freedom in the kitchen of Maison MD.  Today I decided we should start the day with that culinary icon - the Bacon Sandwich (and I was very pleased with the result).
If any Blippers wonder why I am using an electric hob on top of an induction hob - it's because I have a pacemaker fitted and I should not go within 4ft of an active induction hob.  In normal circumstances it's no problem (Mrs MD is queen of her kitchen) - but we have to use a more conventional appliance whilst I am king :-)
