Penrith

I took Tom to Melmerby bakery for breakfast. I had a cheese and chive scone. Tom had a vegetarian breakfast. The scone was good. The breakfast was bland, rubbery mushrooms, a cheap slice of white bread, and burnt vegetarian sausage. We won’t be going back there.
The view from Penrith towards the Lakes was impressive on the way home.
