A walk on the Old Racecourse

This morning we went for a walk on the Old Racecourse and surrounding lanes and fields.

It’s very hot today as another heatwave is starting and everywhere was yellowing due to heat and lack of rain.

There were plenty of gatekeepers, small whites and a few small skippers and common blues.

Some of the blackberries were ripe so we ate some of those as we passed by.
