A wonderful Blipmeet!

I have been following HoneycombeBeach on Blip since February 2013, soon after she started blipping. We soon became friends on Facebook, and when we were living in France from later in 2013 - February 2017, we were able to meet up in person a couple of times, when we were in the UK visiting family - my sister Janet lives just about an hour’s drive away - depending on the traffic. Now we’re back in the US, it’s a bit more awkward, and we hadn’t seen M and J the last few years. However, this year we were able to find a day to work for us both. We arrived in time for coffee, and then managed to fit in the obligatory photos in their lovely garden, before the wind and the rain moved in. Our conversation continued through a lovely lunch served by M, and on until about 4pm, by which time, the weather was calming down, and we thought it was time to get back to Janet’s. They are such a special couple, so warm and welcoming, and gracious hosts. We had such a lovely time with them, and very much hope we can get together again next year!
