Saturday in Stroud

My missus and I picked up our cameras and went for a day trip to Stroud yesterday, and could not have picked a more gorgeous day for it, weather wise! 

Sadly the sun was at 12 o clock and not a cloud in the sky, so the light (and heat!) was a bit too harsh for our liking. But I certainly enjoyed the day out, and the process. This was probably the best shot of the day. 

It's actually been nearly a decade since I had some time in Stroud, and living in Chipping Norton that's no excuse. It's just an hour or so down the A40. I get the feeling I will be here more in the fall and winter!
