Soccer Saturday

Footie returned to SJP. I didn’t have high hopes after watching them on the tv last week. However, what a turnaround.  They played really well and were rewarded with a win and four goals.  To be fair, Blackpool did not have a great game and were really bad in their own box which helped us!  I don’t suppose Steve Bruce went home happy. I always like seeing the former MANU players at SJP (as long as they don’t beat us!).

I had an early start to the day to get my 10k steps in before going to Parkrun to support Ian around. The first runner made it over the line in around 17 minutes and he was running with a dog who promptly threw up as he stopped.  Poor pooch!  

It is a fair old trek to and from the finish line from the car park at Killerton so that got me lots more steps, as did the plod to the footie stadium so I ended on the day on 19k steps which made for an early night as I was dropping off around 9pm
