She Stands Conference, Day 2

We got a little taste last night of what we would be doing and learning about.  That was just the appetizer.  Today we got the full-on smorgasbord as we learned from our key-note speaker about the importance of hope and joy and about the influence we can have for God's kingdom if people can see it overflowing from our lives to minister to all we come in contact with.   We also participated in break-out sessions with smaller groups on several different topics with a break for lunch and beginning and ending our day together lifting praise and worship to God.  And I had a very nice surprise----I won one of the three door prizes!!!
