Dorset bound

Party invite today to my sister-in-laws 60th birthday (actual not until Monday).

As they live near Dorset, we decided to leave early and have lunch in a public house that will be over the road from where we are buying a house (suss the locals out).  Lovely pub, lunch good and appears quite popular.  

Then on to my in-laws for a family party - buffet/finger foods, cakes, nibbles - lots of food.  Our niece had made the birthday cake for her mum - 3 layers, 2 carrot cake and one chocolate cake (made using home grown courgettes).  Ate too much but a fun time.  

Late journey home.
