Rant incoming...

… Honestly, how in heaven’s name is anyone supposed to plan their life around public transport? Ours is atrocious! We decided to leave the car and head into town at 5:30pm. The app informed us it was a “busy time” – SO WHY, STAGECOACH, DID YOU CANCEL THE BUS?!

Five minutes after it vanished from the screen… it turned up at our stop!

Still, we had a pleasant wander through town and tried a Chinese restaurant that was new to us. Very nice food – though I have to say, my choice outshone Paul’s. A quick pitstop at BB for a couple of Espresso Martinis, then off to catch the bus home.

Except, of course, we ended up walking halfway back before a bus finally rolled up – and they had the cheek to charge us the full fare. How people ever manage to get to work or appointments on time using this service is beyond me.

As for today’s blip, it was a toss-up between a pigeon washing its clothes in the fountain and my tofu in black bean sauce.
