Homemade Bread

I haven't made homemade bread in so long. Granted, I made this with my bread machine, but I still consider it homemade! It's a light wheat bread (1/2 bread flour, 1/2 whole wheat) plus 1/4 cup flaxseed. It smells yummy and we'll have it tonight with a "Big Salad." 

Our version includes various leafy greens plus some romaine lettuce and lots of tomatoes (Steve seasons them with salt, pepper, a little balsamic). We'll cut up some English cucumber, Avocado and add strips of dates and Autumn Crisp green seedless grapes. If we have leftover cooked green beans, we'll add those too, or whatever else we find. Then a little mozzarella and goat cheese on top! We finish it off with a few croutons... 

It's a meal we enjoy once a week. I think the bread will go great with it!
