Cowshed soirée

J & E are watching Amadeus while I potter about. Blimey, it's hard going after Barry Lyndon.

Lovely afternoon at Church Farm, minding mother, reading, gathering mulberries & blackberries. Picked up J from Aber station at 5 pm: he had shopped & later cooked a v fine supper, using E as kitchen maid & general courgette grater. They are both cheerful & work well together.

E may be moving out in Sept when she starts at City & Guilds so there will be fewer evenings like this: they are worth treasuring.
