Marks of Age

I travelled to the Purbecks to catch up with some friends and celebrate a big birthday. On a walk, I couldn't resist the gorgeous bark on this tree. They are both lovers of nature and particularly the significance of trees, so they'll agree that this image has a wider meaning than our selfie.
