Standing Stone

Today was a near perfect day for walking on Dartmoor. Clear light, clouds, sunshine and a cool breeze. Underfoot it was dry but moist and there was a blaze of colour with the yellow gorse and purple heather. Plenty of birds too. Lots of people out walking and nice to see groups of friendly, young people enjoying the moor. My blip photo shows a prehistoric standing stone to the south of Laughter Tor on the south moor. Much taller than me and visible for miles around.
