Traffic at 4 a.m.

We landed in Baltimore after our quick turnaround trip, but we still had to drive the two hours home. That was fine until about five minutes from home. There was a horrific accident on the freeway.

We were stopped for about two hours while emergency crews came and went. When traffic finally started moving again, it was after 4 in the morning. We passed a completely burned semi cab and two or three cars that seemed to have been involved in a much more minor crash.

What an exhausting end to an already tiring trip.
