Met a woman at our coffee morning at our local Women’s Shed who introduced me to ‘Earth-Now’ app.
It took me a few attempts to screen shot the date I wanted so hoping this qualifies as my image from my phone camera today.
The backdrop of how important all of this data and satellite imaging that is being collected and predominantly from The US is that shock horror it is also under threat from massive budget cuts next year including NASA forecasting observatories and functions dealing with climate change.
The world depends on this data and forecasting information monitoring salinity, ocean and atmospheric temps, carbon dioxide, sea levels rising .
