Shopping in Broome …

………………….. for a Mother of Pearl shell. It’s so beautiful and is such a lovely memento to have brought home.
Pearls have played a large part in Broome’s financial growth.

My friend who came on the Kimberley trip with me, also bought a shell, engraved with an Aboriginal design. She was very excited to find it.

We flew to Perth this afternoon and, then I headed on an overnight flight to Auckland, NZ.
