Friends

Wine night at Linda's after a long hard day of work: soap, soap, soap. We sat outside which was paradise...the creek, the bridge over the creek, a fire in the chiminea, cool summer weather, and good friends.

It was disastrous though when I had to get up at the crack of dawn to set up and work the Farmer's Market. My mouth and brain were not functioning on the same circuit and I couldn't remember how to add the cost of a lip balm and a liquid soap. Should have stayed in bed. It was extremely cold and rainy too, which is never a fun situation at a rain or shine Farmer's Market. Most customers tend to stay home, but there were a few and the liquid soap is selling well.

Came home, ate lunch, took a long nap and then my taxman grilled corn on the cob and brats that we had with a loaf of my peasant bread fresh from the oven. It was a good day.

Oh and then I received the sweetest card and coffee treats from Carol: Rosie (& Mr. Fun) . What a wonderful surprise and delight! THANK YOU, Carol!!!! And Mr. Fun.
