Listening

This is one of Cleo's favourite spots. She can doze off in the sunshine but also be ready to see off any pigeons or Magpies if necessary. This is World Cat Day so only right that she should be in the spotlight.
Today I went to a pharmacy across town to have some skin tags removed from around my neck area, they've been irritated (and so have I) when they catch on necklaces, also a larger one from my back. Why is it that these things appear as you get older. You used to go to your GP to get Minor treatments like this done. My doctor had a flask of liquid nitrogen(I think that's what it was) on his desk and a long cotton bud . Now it's a trip to a clinic or a pharmacy and a battery operated tool which does the job - it costs rather more too.
This afternoon I met up with a sound engineer at church to fix up our sound system ready for the big service at the beginning of September. All is in tip top condition now and I've ordered a head mounted mic for our radio mic set too also, and separately, a long microphone cable so I can mount a mic on the pulpit which will save mic swapping during the service. My life is so exciting these days.
We watched episode 2 of Karen Pirie with the back ground sounds from the Oasis concert and the bangs and crashes of the fireworks not sure whether they were from the festival or Murrayfield.
