Friday is firework night in Bournemouth

9:25 bus to Swanage market for radicchio and other veg. Good time to go. Plenty of room on the open top bus. Not too warm, and lovely breeze.

Wandered round the down. Discovered 'The Mill Pond' surrounded by pretty stone cottages. May be cheeky and blip it tomorrow.

Then back home and relaxed on the balcony.

Have just made sauerkraut. Made a mess of it last time (second attempt - first was fine).
Have used glass weights this time to keep the cabbage under the brine so I'm confident it will be OK.

I forgot it was firework Friday, but couldn't miss the loud bangs so rushed out to watch.
