Oblong-winged Katydid

I found this katydid while I was cutting down a bunch of very tall weeds wildflowers called "wingstem." I like them, but we have WAY too many of them - everywhere. So I try to keep the situation somewhat under control. With very limited success. Anyway - I apologized to the katydid and put it somewhere safe to go on about its life.
