Craigleith

This is a small island off North Berwick. This morning we went to the Scottish Seabird Centre here, where we watched a live feed of some of 50,000 gannet nests on The Bass Rock, the largest colony of them in the world. Numbers have declined since an outbreak of avian flu in 2022, but are now beginning to recover, I understand.

The bird on the rock in the photo is not a gannet - some kind of gull!
