Salt’s lilies

Decided to call in at Salts Mill this morning as I was out and about. I wanted to find a nice card and the mill is one of my favoured places for finding something different. 

Of course as I was there I had a coffee in the diner. I was there just on 10.00 am so it was pretty quiet but was filling up before I left. 
I found a card I liked nearby in the Home section but still had a look around the book area and the ground floor before leaving.

This floor is full of artist materials and books about art and artists as well as lots of displayed work by David Hockney.

There are always several huge vases of white lilies on here the scent of which are just about bearable in this large space. They had obviously all been recently replaced as they were still in bud so the smell was minimal. Lilies look amazing in gardens but I find they can be overpowering indoors.
